Cyclone Liquors is a high-end liquor store selling more than just beverages. They aim to connect to their customers through personalized experiences and memories.

A Rebrand Challenge

In my Practicum studio, I was challenged to rebrand Cyclone Liquors without the iconic colors of the Iowa State Cyclones. I first focused on repositioning the brand strategy to reimagine what the company stood for. With the rebrand of the business itself, Cyclone Liquors could connect to the metaphor "eye of the storm," and I chose to use imagery of a raven as they are an omen for storms.

Connection

Using the metaphor "eye of the storm" and the motif of a raven, I translated the metaphor and visuals into all aspects of the branding, from packaging to brand voice, the business's events, and experiences.

What I Did

Connecting a metaphor to the businesses events helped the branding of Cyclone Liquors come alive. Now, Cyclone Liquors can position itself to be a high-end, exclusive store and tap into a new market.
